What is a Chiropractor?

A chiropractor is a health care professional focused on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through non-invasive manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine to maintain optional health of the patient.

Most chiropractors seek to reduce pain and improve the functionality of patients as well as to educate them on how they can account for their own health via exercise, ergonomics and other therapies to treat back pain.

What do I need to bring?

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring scan/MRI reports, and list of medication. You may wish to wear comfortable clothing.

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the doctor will discuss their treatment plan for your specific needs.
